This initiative aims to link and strengthen existing data infrastructures relevant to respiratory research to support CRRN\u2019s mission to <em>Empower collaborative respiratory health research across Canada<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p><h2>Overarching goals:<\/h2><ul><li>Develop an integrated pan-Canadian multidimensional data network and sharing platform that supports respiratory research across the lifespan<\/li><li>Sustain a network of scientists across multiple disciplines that can be readily mobilized to exploit the data infrastructure<\/li><li>Provide training to highly qualified personnel and participating members to develop skills sets in the analysis of multidimensional data<\/li><\/ul><h3>Secondary objectives:<\/h3><ul><li>Create a pan-Canadian registry of participants to support respiratory research and clinical trials in Canada<\/li><li>Support national and international collaborations<\/li><li>Build partnerships with the industry<\/li><li>Invest in interoperable technologies\/IT solutions<\/li><li>Share tools and knowledge to analyze\/exploit multidimensional data:<ul><li>Visualization platform<\/li><li>Suite of analytical tools<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Optimize data sharing agreements across jurisdiction<\/li><li>Share resources to support data collection across Canada and across disciplines<\/li><li>Support data management following FAIR principles and security.
