Platform), we believe the future of clinical trials in Canada depends on how we train, connect and prepare people to engage in clinical trials research\u2014across disciplines, across sectors, and across communities.\u200b<br \/>Born from a national wake-up call during the COVID-19 pandemic, CANTRAIN is Canada\u2019s most expansive and innovative response to the urgent need for a stronger, more coordinated clinical trials system.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/wecantrain.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">CANTRAIN website<\/a><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/wecantrain.ca\/home\/clinical-trial-training-programs\/clinical-research-professionals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">CANTRAIN Clinical Trials<\/a><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>CANSTAT<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\"FontColor\">The Canadian Network for Statistical Training in Trials (CANSTAT) is a pan-Canadian, multi-institutional and multidisciplinary training platform that will provide participants with the technical skills and practical experience needed to become leaders in their field and to ensure that clinical trials generate the highest-quality evidence to improve the health of Canadians.<\/p><p class=\"FontColor\">The goals of the program are to equip fellows with:<\/p><ul><li>Knowledge about clinical trials<\/li><li>Required technical and interpersonal skills<\/li><li>Opportunities to implement skills into practice<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"FontColor\">The CANSTAT program will bring fellows together with clinical and statistical experts in clinical trials and allow fellows to learn through a comprehensive experiential learning program. The Canadian Respiratory Research Network Lung Health Registry is designed to match registry participants from the general public, who are interested in their lung health, to ongoing lung health research studies in Canada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/data4lunghealth.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/shAIRe_CRRN-Registry-REDCap-DataDictionary_MAY-2025.csv\">CRRN Lung Health Registry REDCap Data Dictionary<\/a><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>CANUE\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>CANUE provides researchers with access to standardized, analysis-ready environmental exposure data covering all of Canada. This includes concentrations of key air pollutants (e.g., PM\u2082.\u2085, NO\u2082, ozone), land use, green space, noise, and climate variables, all indexed to six-character postal codes. Canadian Urban Environmental Health Research Consortium (CANUE) data are pre-linked to major Canadian cohort studies and administrative health databases that include measures and outcomes relevant to lung health. Researchers can also request customized datasets to link with their own study populations.
